My annual shoot with Jillian and John! We’ve had so many fun shoots over the years, and they have become such dear friends. They are now living in New Orleans, but were in Palm Springs over the holidays, so of course we had to make time for photos! They adopted a really cute mini schnauzer named Wexler, And Jillian is very passionate about her work with Schnauzer Rescue of Louisiana They have helped out so many pups. You should definitely follow John on Instagram, he is always posting such cool fashion for men, espeically if you love boots! Check out our last two shoots HERE and HERE!
Sarah and Ricardo are very organized people, probably the most organized I’ve ever met. They came up with the theme for their engagement shoot, “date night” and all of the locations, talk about making my job easy! We had a fun time walking around downtown Long Beach, its become such a cool area in the last few years. I’m really excited for their wedding, its one month away!
Every year I look forward to photographing these two. They always have great ideas and have such cool style. Its also really special because they don’t get to see each other very often because John is a sergeant in the Marines and is gone most of the year. I know these images mean a lot to them and I feel honored to capture these moments. Check out their Instagrams, John posts a lot of cool vintage clothes and engineer boots as well as his leather crafting VintageEngineerBoots.Check out JVONV and all of her awesome styling and she also does modeling for Pin Up Girl Clothing where the majority of her wardrobe for this shoot came from. Most of Johns wardrobe is from Mister Freedom. You can find their Madsen Bicycle HERE. Can’t wait for the next one!

Happy New Year! It was such a busy 2014, so much to blog, so little time. This year I plan to make more time for blog posts.
I shot these adorable boys a few months ago, I love how these turned out, fishing, marbles, peanut butter sandwiches, and a game of old maid, good old fashioned fun! So thankful to my Pops for his continual search for awesome photo props.
I’ve been working with the super talented Katelyn Brooke the last few months on a complete rebrand, and I’m so happy with the end result. She was so much fun to work with, I’m kind of sad that it has come to an end! You can see her blog post about the design process HERE. I can’t thank her enough!
And I’m finally getting around to posting Haley’s Senior photos! She is an artist and had a lot of great ideas, it made my job easy! I loved that she was willing to get up early to catch the morning light.
