Jaris & Evan | Korakia | Palm Springs

I’m excited to finally share Jaris and Evan’s rainy day elopement!

The couple met over a decade ago in a little West Texas college town. They share a love for dogs (labs+pugs especially), Tex-Mex, playing old records, and you guessed it…rainy days. It is truly fitting that the rain was unstoppable (in the desert mind you!) on this intimate Monday afternoon in Palm Springs. Rain is considered good luck on your wedding day for two main reasons: it symbolizes fertility and a complete cleansing of the past, allowing for new beginnings. That feels pretty right.
